Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 4, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Vantage Curation Sole Proprietorship, DBA Vantage Curation ("Vantage Curation", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use ShadowEvo.

What we collect. (1) Account data: your email address and authentication data when you create an account (handled via Supabase). (2) Usage/billing data: your plan, token balance, and purchase records, including a Stripe-provided display summary of your payment method (card brand, last 4 digits, expiration) for Pro/Producer subscribers — we never receive or store your full card number. (3) Content you submit: the messages, files, and prompts you send, which are transmitted to the AI provider that answers them. (4) Support communications you send us.

On-device data. Your chats, tabs, custom agents, and memories are stored locally on your device (browser storage or, in the desktop app, your computer). In the desktop app, any API keys you add live in a local file on your machine and are used only to authenticate directly with the AI providers you configured — we never receive them.

Voice features. If you use voice input, your speech is transcribed either by your browser's built-in speech recognition (never leaves your device) or, where used, a speech-to-text provider. If you use voice replies or the real-time voice agent, the text of the reply is sent to ElevenLabs to synthesize spoken audio, which is streamed back to you; ElevenLabs processes that text under its own terms as a Vantage Curation processor. We do not use your voice to train third-party models. (Added July 20, 2026 — draft, pending owner/attorney review.)

Browser Bridge (desktop). This optional, off-by-default desktop feature pairs the app with a companion browser extension and a local helper process running on your own machine. When paired, ShadowEvo can send it commands (navigate, click, type, read text/DOM, screenshot, read console output) to act on a browser tab you control; results (e.g. page text or a screenshot) are sent back to ShadowEvo the same way any message content is, so it can respond to what it saw. The bridge itself runs locally between your desktop app, extension, and browser — no separate Vantage Curation server sits in that loop. Turn it off anytime by unpairing in the app. (Added July 20, 2026 — draft, pending owner/attorney review.)

How we use it. To provide and operate ShadowEvo, authenticate you, process payments and enforce plan limits, respond to support, maintain security, and comply with law. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — ever.

Third parties (processors). ShadowEvo relies on: AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) that process the prompts they answer under their own terms; ElevenLabs (voice synthesis, when you use voice features); Supabase (authentication and database); Stripe (payments); and Vercel (hosting).

Retention & deletion. We keep account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as required for legal/financial records. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing vantagecuration@gmail.com. Deleting the app or clearing your browser storage removes locally-stored data.

Your rights. Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or object to certain processing. To exercise them, email vantagecuration@gmail.com.

Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children. ShadowEvo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes. We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
